First Stop: Miramar Beach
We reached Miramar Beach, a peaceful and clean shoreline where the Mandovi River meets the Arabian Sea. The soft golden sand, cool breeze, and calm vibes made it a perfect start to our tour. ππ΄
Miramar Beach is one of the most peaceful and scenic beaches in Goa, located just 3 km from Panaji, the capital city. Itβs where the Mandovi River meets the Arabian Sea, creating a beautiful estuary view.
The beach is known for its soft golden sand, clean shoreline, and a long stretch perfect for morning or evening walks. Youβll often find locals jogging, tourists relaxing, and kids playing. Itβs not very crowded, which makes it ideal for couples and families looking for a quiet time.
Though swimming is not recommended here due to strong currents, itβs a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset, take photos, and feel the cool sea breeze.
After Miramar Beach, we headed to Dona Paula View Point β also known as the Loversβ Paradise. From here, we enjoyed a stunning view of the sea and the meeting point of two rivers. The breeze was refreshing, and the place felt peaceful and romantic. Perfect spot for clicking pictures and just soaking in the view!
Next, we visited the famous Basilica of Bom Jesus, one of the oldest and most important churches in Goa. This church is a UNESCO World Heritage site and holds the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, the patron saint of Goa.
The architecture was stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere inside made us feel calm and connected. It was truly a spiritual and historical experience. Donβt forget to take a quiet moment inside β it feels special. πβ¨
Just a short walk from Basilica of Bom Jesus, we visited the grand Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia. Its Portuguese-style architecture is truly majestic and beautiful.
This church is dedicated to St. Catherine and is known for its tall bell tower and peaceful interiors. Standing inside felt like stepping back in time. The silence, the history, and the beauty of the place made it a very special experience. πΏβͺβ¨
After exploring Old Goa, we headed to the beautiful Mangueshi Temple, one of the most famous and respected temples in Goa. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is known for its peaceful atmosphere and elegant Goan architecture.
Surrounded by greenery and calm vibes, the temple gave us a break from the touristy spots and a moment of peace. We also learned that it's the birthplace of Bharat Ratna awardee Lata Mangeshkar ji, which made it even more special. ππΊ
Next, we visited the St. Augustine Tower, one of the most iconic ruins in Old Goa. Even though only part of the structure remains, it still stands tall and proud, telling stories of Goaβs rich Portuguese history.
Walking around the old stone walls and arches gave us a different vibe β quiet, historic, and a bit mysterious. It's a perfect spot for those who love photography and history. πΈποΈβ¨

We ended our day with a beautiful Sunset Boat Tour on the Mandovi River β and it was the perfect way to unwind. The cruise had live music, Goan and Portuguese dance performances, and a calm, laid-back vibe.
As the sun slowly set over the river, the sky turned orange and golden β it felt magical. We danced, relaxed, and just soaked in the moment. If you're visiting Goa, this cruise is a must-do for couples and families alike. ππΆπ
π Note: This is a chargeable activityΒ It is also weather-dependent, so in case of heavy rain, the cruise may be cancelled or skipped.
